Special Stake Conference

(We will reserve the last 5 minutes of our next two Relief Society Sunday meetings for sisters to figure out carpooling arrangements. Please come to church knowing whether you need a ride or if you are able to give a ride. I would estimate that if you are leaving from the church you should plan on leaving the Lecanto building by 8:15 am on Saturday and by 7:45 am on Sunday to save enough time to get there and get in your seats. Please know your availability tomorrow and next Sunday so that the sisters that need rides will be able to connect with the sisters available to transport. I also hear that there are many hotels in the area that could accomodate an overnight stay between Saturday and Sunday (arrangments for overnight stays are of course on an individual/family basis)! The attire for all meetings is Sunday best!)

From a stake email update delivered today . . .

As announced recently, we are being privileged with a visit by Elder Neil L Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Please do everything possible to ensure that you are able to attend this special stake conference and sit at the feet of an apostle of Jesus Christ and learn His gospel. The meeting schedule is as follows:
Saturday, May 15 at 10:00am - Special Relief Society/Laurel session with Sister Kathy S Andersen. All adult sisters and young women age 16+ are invited to attend this special session.
Sunday, May 16 at 8:30am - Special Youth Session with Elder Neil L Andersen. This session is for all youth, age 14 and up, Seminary teachers, and Bishops. Please be seated by 8:15am.
Sunday, May 16 at 10:00am - Special Stake Conference with Elder Neil L Andersen. Please arrive early and follow the directions of the parking attendants. Once inside the chapel, please follow the directions of the ushers so seating will flow smoothly and reverently. No saving of seats will be allowed.
