End of the Year Announcements
The Ward Lingers Longer Luncheon is this upcoming Sunday (January 6th) at 1:30pm. It's a "Break the Fast" Luncheon. Relief Society is in charge of the meal. Please bring your hot items in a crock pot, and you can store your cold items in the fridge. We did not have sign up sheets--we are simply doing a "pot luck" style meal. All food preparation will occur between 1:00pm and 1:30pm. Betty Fisher and Robyn Kanis are in charge of this event--so please call one of them with any questions.
Last week the missionaries took some time and explained the rules related to eating at member's houses. Food consumption must be done by 6pm unless an investigator/less active member is at the house. They can stay past 6pm to give the member a spiritual message.
The Missionary Open House is coming up--February 8th in the evening. Start thinking about investigators to invite down to the church.
The next Book club meeting will be Feb. 11th at 10:30 at Jessicca Romney's house. We are reading "God wants a powerful people" by Sheri Dew. Please join us!
If you still have a R/S Survey--please feel free to turn it in.
All December V/T information must be turned in on this Sunday (Jan. 6th)--so PLEASE contact your ZONE LEADERS SOON!!! December is a month that is turned into Salt Lake--so the numbers matter this month!!!! Please report!
Karen Ellis will be out of town for the next few weeks and Brittan Mitchell will also be unavailable. Please direct all questions/concerns to Sister Fisher or Sister Kanis.
