Couple of announcements:

This Sunday is ward conference and the stake leaders will be teaching Relief Society. We have all been encouraged to bring our Feb 2011 Ensign to class. If I discover which talk (exactly)-I will email it out :)

If you serve in R/S in any capacity (ie teacher, sub, committee, music, enrichment, zone leader, etc)--please send Kim Fulford a picture of you as a baby! She needs them by Sunday. Her email is fulford83@aol.com

Sister Waller is going to start her sewing group on Thursdays from 12-3pm at the church. Bring your own sewing machine. She will have a sign up sheet and will show the items we will be making for Hospice.

Next Tuesday (the 15th) is our Quarterly Meeting (R/S Birthday Party) @ 6:30 at the church!!!

Visiting Teaching Assignment for March!

Assignments from the Visiting Teaching Conference:

1) Mail your postcards to the sisters announcing our next quarterly R/S activity! (At most, a trip to the post office)
2) Tell your zone leader that you mailed the cards (and any other contacts that you had w/ your sisters) (Less than 5 minutes by phone or email)
3) Watch the 3 videos about Visiting Teaching at

Week 4 challenge: The Living Christ

"He walked the roads of Palestine, healing the sick, causing the blind to see, and raising the dead. He taught the truths of eternity, the reality of our premortal existence, the purpose of our life on earth, and the potential for the sons and daughters of God in the life to come. He insttituted the sacrament as a reminder of His great atoning sacrifice."

Visiting Teaching Conference

Come join us on Sunday March 5th as all the sisters (Primary and YW included) join in for a Visiting Teaching Conference during the 3rd hour of church.

We will have a few minutes to "Meet the Zone Leaders"
